Russian Deputy FM: Moscow’s Stance on Iran Goes on Without Change

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Alexei Borodavkin, said in Moscow on Sunday that Russia is determined to continue cooperation with Iran and its stance regarding the country will not change. In an exclusive interview with IRNA, he said: "Despite certain countries' demand in the Munich Security Conference for a change in Russia's policy on Iran, Russian officials see no reason for doing so."
Borodavkin emphasized that the launch of Bushehr Atomic Power Plant, south of Iran, will take place per on the agreed schedule, noting that it will be put into operation in August.
Expressing pleasure with the upward trend in Tehran-Moscow cooperation, the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister said: "Russia successfully continues with its policy of broadening ties with its old neighboring country."
