Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa is pessimistic about the success of the peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians.
Moussa told the Syrian Television on Wednesday that there is no solution for the Middle East conflict on the horizon, Haaretz reported.
He reiterated that there would be no difference between the current government and a government led by Foreign Minister and Kadima Chairwoman Tzipi Livni.
"Livni did not advance the peace process at all and she has excelled at foot-dragging without making decisions."
The Arab League chief said while Israel talks about peace, at the same time, it is expanding settlements and moving to change the demographic situation in the region.
"Perhaps a right-wing government led by Benjamin Netanyahu will say 'no' to our face, as opposed to the sophisticated way of refusal the current government, which calls itself left or center-left, employs," said Moussa.
The Arab League has been pushing for a peace arrangement, which would see Israel withdrawing behind the 1967 borders in exchange for the normalization of ties between Tel Aviv and Arab countries.
