Conference on Supporting the Palestinian chaired

The Secretary General of the International Conference on Qods and Support for Palestine refers to the holding of the 4th Conference on Assistance to Palestine chaired by the President of Majlis of Iran on 4 and 5 March in Tehran

The Secretary General of the International Conference on Qods and Support for Palestine, Mr. Ali Akbar Mohtashamipour announced that the Presidents of Parliaments of Islamic countries and some other countries, personalities of the Palestinian resistance, were invited to take part in this Conference. He added that so far, the Presidents of Parliaments of 15 countries have accepted this invitation. Parliamentary delegations from 30 countries of the world were also invited to the 4th International Conference in Support of Palestine. Mohtashamipour said, many international organizations including the Arab League, the Organization of the Islamic Conference, the Movement of Non-Aligned Movement, prominent religious leaders, legal and international, many non-governmental organizations for human rights and Man and the rights of Palestinians were also called to participate in this Conference. 
Mr. Mohtashamipour said that the invitations were sent to more than 80 countries around the world to invite 700 international personalities to attend the Conference. As for the role and responsibility of the Majlis of Iran in organizing the 4th International Conference in Support of Palestine, Mr. Mohtashamipour said: "By virtue of a law on the need to support su rights Palestinian people, it is the Majlis of Iran to hold international conferences and symposia for the rights of the Palestinian people. "

The Secretary General of the International Conference to Support Quds and Palestine, then describes the aims of the 4th Conference: "The aim of this conference is to support the popular resistance of the Palestinians as a legitimate and lawful, this world-renowned people. Indeed, the resolutions and international conventions confirm all peoples the right to defend their homeland, and to defend itself against the aggression of enemies. " 
Mr. Mohtashamipour said that the prosecution and trial of war criminals of the Zionist entity is another objective of the 4th Conference on Assistance to Palestine: "A confession of most international organizations which are dominated by great powers, the 22-day war in Gaza was a war criminal. It is our human duty to condemn the efforts of the criminal Zionist entity, in the framework of international law. " 
Referring to the decision of the eminent jurists and international lawyers to prepare an indictment against the criminal Zionists, Mr. Mohtashamipour said: "It is the responsibility of all countries and all peoples to undertake appropriate measures in this direction. The Majlis of Iran was therefore given the task to reveal the war crimes, genocide and the racist policies of the Zionist entity at this conference. " 
The Secretary General of the International Conference on Qods and Support for Palestine said that the collection of evidence and documentation of these crimes, based on complaints from Lebanon and Palestine, is a first step to initiate criminal proceedings with the Iranian judiciary. 
"During my recent visit to Syria and Lebanon, I met the political leaders of these countries told me that a multitude of evidence and documents were collected on war crimes perpetrated by the Zionist entity at Qana, Sabra, Shatila and Syria, and that these documents would be made available to the Conference 4èmze assistance to Palestine. According to Mr. Mohtashamipour, this Conference can exploit the huge potential that exists across the world to create an international dialogue in the direction of these goals: "Three committees will examine the different aspects of resistance. Mr. Mohtashamipour added a fourth committee would be created at the Conference to develop the final declaration, and make a finding of scientific meetings and specialized form of an international document. 
Questioned by the reporter of ISNA on the presence of presidents of parliaments of Egypt and Libya in Tehran, the Secretary General of the International Conference in Support of Palestine said: "We have invited the Presidents of Parliaments of Arab and Islamic countries. In this context, we have also invited Dr. Fathi Sorour, President of the Egyptian Parliament. But naturally, he decides to come in person to the conference or to send a parliamentary delegation. " 
Mr. Mohtashamipour said that the Presidents of Parliaments of Palestine and Libya had been invited to the conference, and Mr. Ali Larijani had invited his Egyptian counterpart to participate in a conference call. 
Mr. Mohtashamipour noted the invitation of MPs and senior MPs from Iraq and the political parties of this country, and all the Palestinian parties and groups, with the exception of the dominant wing of the Fatah movement .
